Free Popcorn

Here's a little portrait of poverty. I was walking down the street the other day and passed in front of a new home appliances chain store near my apt.. There was a big line down the block and I thought, "oh, maybe they're hiring or something like that". But nope .... they were giving out free popcorn as a promotional event. People were waiting all the way down the block for free popcorn. Deep.
