January 04, 2006 test Continue reading »April 03, 2005 I really don't know why I continue to post this kind of news on my blog, but I feel compelled for some reason. I think years down the line it will be interesting to look at all of these headlines. What a shame most of them are terrible. Continue reading »February 14, 2005 It's been so long since I've entered anything into Tales of a Gringo. Just so busy lately with pandeiro.com, etc.. Well, this story upset me, so I'm posting it. Hopefully I'll get back into my blogging habit. Continue reading »September 25, 2004 While I was in NYC in June I played the demo I made last year with Yuval for a friend and his wife wound up offering me a night of my own at a little place in Greenwich Village. In the meantime I wanted to add a link here to a big article that was written about me in the Jornal do Brasil last week. A half-pager with a highlight on the front page of the paper. Check it out here, complete with an English translation! August 05, 2004 Here's the tribute from today's New York Times. Much more interesting than the BBC coverage. Continue reading »August 05, 2004 The world just lost one of the greatest photographers of all time, and one of my personal heroes. Bresson was one of my favorite photographers and his work helped fuel my passion for photography when I started to dive deeper into it in the early 1990s. Well, goodbye to yet another master.
